Mr. Haberberger is Co-Head of Client Operations for Southeastern Asset Management and brings a wealth of finance and accounting experience on behalf of the organization’s mission. He has been a volunteer among KQ programs for over 20 years.

Treasurer
Mr. Simon is a retired executive leader with FedEx Supply Chain Division. Mr. Simon further develops the strategic direction and process level functions of the organization in addition to leading the board’s Finance Sub-Committee.
Sally Nickele
Ms. Nickele is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is Chair of the Programs Sub-Committee. Ms. Nickele helps guide the organization’s 2Gen-centric Home. Health. Opportunity (H2O) methodology and actively supports programming fidelity.
Kevin Woods
Mr. Woods is Memphis Market President for Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Tennessee. Mr. Woods also served as a longtime Memphis Shelby County School Board member and recently headed a major quasi-governmental work-readiness agency prior to his leadership role at BCBS. Mr. Woods brings a wealth of experience to the work force development efforts, governmental and corporate community awareness and social capital to the organization.
Webb Brewer
Mr. Brewer is a public interest attorney and founder of Brewer & Barlow, PLC. Mr. Brewer also serves as general counsel to the Memphis/Shelby County Emergency Rental and Utility Assistance Program. Mr. Brewer provides legal guidance to the organization and on behalf of the constituents we serve through program strategy and civil and human rights considerations.
Dr. Eraina Schauss
Dr. Schauss is an Associate Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Founder and Director of the BRAIN Center at the University of Memphis. Dr. Schauss supports the professional development of staff and programming strategy among KQ’s strengths-based therapeutic service provision efforts among youth and adult constituents. Dr. Schauss is also an active in areas of collegiate relations in support of KQ’s internship and learning praxis programs.
Lorenzo Myrick
Mr. Myrick is CEO of Enlightenment, Inc., an environmental services, landscaping and construction firm in the Memphis area. Mr. Myrick provides strategic direction to the organization’s built environment and construction projects initiated through its housing, community, and economic development efforts.
Pamela Jackson
Ms. Jackson is a chemical engineer and serves as the Environmental Health and Safety Director for the Valero Memphis Refinery. She is an avid proponent of engineering and STEM field careers among young African American youth, especially girls. Ms. Jackson initiated the STEM Club at KQ and supports related programming and volunteer recruitment on behalf of the organization’s STEM and Agri-STEM career development initiatives.
Tanesha Bates
Ms. Bates is a community organizer, avid community volunteer, and longtime resident of the community in which KQ program sites are based. Her children, as well as her entire family, are longstanding KQ program participants. Ms. Bates helps ensure the direction, relevance, and impact of KQ programs among our constituents.
Marlon Foster
Executive Director
Marlon Foster is the Founder and CEO of Knowledge Quest, a youth and community development organization founded in 1995 whose mission is “to vigorously equip youth and families to maximize their potential through education, wellness and opportunity.” He is considered a ‘social entrepreneur’ because of his unique approaches to community and economic development. He is a life-long resident of South Memphis and presently lives in the immediate neighborhood in which Knowledge Quest is headquartered. Marlon Foster holds a Bachelor of Business Arts Degree from LeMoyne-Owen College and a Master of Divinity Degree from Memphis Theological Seminary. The Seminary established The Rev. Marlon and Sheila Foster Professor of Pastoral Theology and Homiletics in honor of their humanitarian efforts. Mr. Foster was also invited to the White House by President Obama and honored as a ‘Champion of Change’ as a part of our nation’s Winning the Future Initiative to prevent youth violence and make our communities safer.
