Literacy Mid-South: Read Memphis Program
The Read Memphis Project builds the capacity of other organizations, churches, nonprofits, and groups to create new or improve existing community-based literacy or adult basic education centers (6th-grade reading and below) and English as a Second Language (ESL) centers throughout the Mid-South.

Memphis Public Libraries (MPL) serves lifelong learners and encourages young readers. MPL serves newcomers wishing to improve their English language skill and small business owners wishing to grow what they have built.
